Accessibility Statement
BodyWorks Medical Center is committed to making our website and the information on it available to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We want every patient to be able to learn about our care, find a location, and contact us without barriers.
Our Standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with visual, hearing, cognitive, and motor impairments, and more usable for everyone.
Accessibility is built into how this site is developed rather than added by a third-party overlay or accessibility widget. Overlays often sit on top of a page without correcting the underlying markup, so we address accessibility directly in the site itself.
Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML structure with landmarks, a single main heading per page, and a logical heading order so screen readers can navigate content.
- A “Skip to main content” link at the top of every page for keyboard and screen reader users.
- Full keyboard operability for navigation, menus, forms, and buttons, with visible focus indicators.
- Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images and accessible names for icon-only controls.
- Color and type choices reviewed for contrast, with information never conveyed by color alone.
- Responsive layouts that support zoom, larger text, and screen magnification on phones, tablets, and desktops.
- Captions or transcripts available on request for video testimonials and other media.
- Accessibility reviewed as part of ongoing site updates rather than as a one-time project.
Third-Party Content
Some features on this site, such as our online scheduling tools, insurance verification, maps, and review displays, are provided by third parties. We do not control the code these vendors publish. Where a third-party feature creates a barrier, we work with the vendor and provide an alternative way to complete the same task - most often by phone, email, or in person at any of our three offices.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Known areas include embedded third-party scheduling widgets and older documents or media added before our current standards. We are actively working to improve these and welcome reports about anything we have missed.

Ongoing Review
This statement is reviewed as the site changes. Feedback from patients is the most useful input we receive, and we use it to guide what we fix next.
